A proud grandfather, John Howley called into the [Buloke] “Times” office this week to inform us that Joel Howley has taken out the National Open Men’s Slalom Champion title competing in WA over the Easter period.
Joel is the son of Gavin and Helen (formerly Penfold).
John said Joel has taken out the national water skiing title 9 times in the past 10 years.
Joel was supported by his parents, girlfriend Rebecca, and family members, Nick and Janine Pearse, and Ty and Tarli Pearse and their two boys, Arlo and Banjo.
