The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA), through the Tasmanian Red Meat Industry Steering Committee (TRMISC), proudly announces the launch of the AgCard Managing Livestock for Red Meat Production certificate unit in collaboration with the Tasmanian Government and Primary Employers Tasmania (PET).

This certificate is funded through the $1 million Tasmanian Government commitment to support the development of the red meat industry.

TRMISC representative, Clare Peltzer said “It’s great to add another unit to the AgCard platform aiming to improve agricultural workplaces.

The Managing Livestock for Red Meat Production unit is a free, valuable online training tool for current and future employees to ensure your business continues to produce safe red meat for human consumption.

The content is consistent with the principles of Integrity Systems Company who aim to identify and trace red meat from your paddock to the plate.”

TFGA CEO, Hugh Christie said “The TFGA are pleased to collaborate with other key industry stakeholders to be offering a free certificate, supporting best practice and ongoing development of livestock industries in line with the National Livestock Identification System.”
