Town of Port Headland, Media Release, 21 July 2021
This year’s Spinifex Spree Carnival will be on Friday, 23 July and Saturday, 24 July at the Town Oval (Turf Club). Friday’s session will kick off at 5pm and run till 9pm – while the fun on Saturday will start at 11am and run right through to 10pm.
Program
A variety of performers, entertainers and attractions from all across WA will be featured at this year’s event, including Freestyle Motocross FMX Demos, Live Music from Fieldsy, Oompah! and a range of local artists, as well as roving performers coming up from Perth.
Event parking
Please be advised that traffic management will be in place along McGregor Street from 3:00-10:30pm on Friday, 23 July 2021 and from 9:30am-11:30pm on Saturday, 24 July 2021.
The Main Parking Zone for the event is located at the Town Oval which is accessible through the Turf Club. If the Main Parking Zone is full, patrons are advised to park in the Overflow Parking areas located in the vicinity. When departing, patrons will be directed to the exit adjacent to the Port Hedland Skate Park.
One way traffic will be in place at all times. This also applies to vehicles utilising the RV Overflow.
