Official Opening – new Esperance jetty

The new Esperance Jetty is fast nearing completion and we are planning an opening event to celebrate with the community!

Vision for the Day:
A vibrant community event on Sunday 28 March, 2021, from 12pm-6pm, with the official opening at 1pm.

Local acoustic musicians playing throughout the day and market stalls spread across the Jetty Headland. Other small activities like giant games, a Tanker Jetty History stall and first on the new Jetty competition are planned.

If you or your community group is interested in having a stall or hosting an activity (craft, fishing, bouncy castles etc.), we are currently collecting expressions of interest.  
Please fill in this form and return to ecd@esperance.wa.gov.au by Monday 15 March if you would like to be involved.

Event Meeting:
There will be a final event meeting for all stalls, food vendors and activity hosts on Monday, 22 March at the Esperance Civic Centre between 5:30pm-6:30pm to prepare for the event. 

COVID Safety Measurements:
This event has a COVID-19 Safety Plan and as per the new requirements for contact tracing, will have several sign in stations for compulsory registration of attendance.

  1. Additional sanitiser stations will be available
  2. Stall holders have individual Safety Plans and
  3. Physical distancing will be in place.
