Craig Gough – the power of colour

Colour is uppermost in the mind when you view Craig Gough’s latest exhibition, which is on show at Cascade Art. The exhibition was officially opened by Linden New Art Director and CEO Dr Vincent Alessi last Saturday.

It was ‘community’ on display for all to enjoy – the Maldon churches combined to come together as one to host the Beehive Chimney Good Friday Service.

Starting tonight with the Great Aussie Scone Bake, there's plenty of fun at the five-day Maldon Easter Fair. There'll be a range of family-friendly events at the 147th Fair.

Community update on Newstead solar farm

The Newstead Community Energy Project (aka solar farm) will be commissioned during the second half of 2024 (date TBC). The inverter, solar panels and most of the tracking system have been installed.

The Harcourt Applefest sets out to showcase local produce – in particular, with a name like Applefest (DRUM ROLL)... yes, apples ... At the recent Applefest, one of Maldon’s-own was also showcased … The award-winning Gluten-free Poached Apple Tea Cake will be available at Maldon Rose over Easter.
