Your Tarrangower Times correspondent attended the first of two two-hour sessions and witnessed eight stimulating 10-minute talks by a variety of speakers ... finding the confidence ... creative solutions ... take risks ... listen and learn from each other ...

Miffy & Mack in Maldon – Maldon book launch

You’re invited to the launch of Miffy & Mack in Maldon - a book of cartoons for children of all ages by local resident Anita Sinclair.  With the support of Maldon’s Athenaeum Library,  Miffy and Mack will make their appearance at the Maldon Community Centre on Saturday 18 May, from 2pm to 4pm.

Anzac Day at Nuggetty

It was early in the afternoon of Anzac Day last week. Under a cloudy sky a crowd of 60 or more gathered around the Peace Cairn at Nuggetty for a unique commemoration service.

Happy 25th birthday!

The Community Bank Maldon & District held a party on Bank Corner last Wednesday afternoon to celebrate 25 years of service. From the ages of eight to 80 (and beyond!), a keen crowd came together to enjoy some music, a snag courtesy of the Maldon Golf Club and an ice cream or two.
