Killarney Show & Rodeo Society Inc
The 113th Killarney Show will be held on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 February 2026, continuing a tradition that began in 1911. Over the decades, the show has remained a significant community event, showcasing local agriculture, craftsmanship, and hospitality.
This year’s program includes major agricultural competitions such as show jumping, rodeo events, stud cattle and led steer classes, woodchop, and the prime beef exhibition and sale. Pavilion displays will feature photography, woodwork, needlework, visual arts, horticulture, floral design, knitting and crochet, and cooking—including the highly contested fruit cake category, sponsored by the Killarney CWA.
Entertainment is planned for all ages. Friday features the Prime Cattle competition and the Friday Night Rodeo. Saturday offers a full day and evening of activities, including the climbing wall, reptile show, and Big Bang Science Fair with hands on exhibits for younger visitors. Popular events such as the Pet Parade, Coastal Kelpie High Jump, and the Demolition Derby return again this year. Fireworks and live music will conclude Saturday’s program.
The show continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of more than 300 volunteers and the generous support of sponsors. Their contributions ensure the successful planning, operation, and continuation of this valued community event.
