Get ready! The 126th Annual Oberon Show is just around the corner.
Step right up and experience a local show like no other! From traditional favourites through to amusements, show bags and a host of special surprises culminating in a massive entertainment & fireworks display for all to see. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day, filled with country and city fun, competitions and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
There is something for everyone at this year’s show. If you love animals you won’t want to miss the live stock displays featuring some top notch cattle and sheep. The equestrian events are always a highlight, show casing incredible skills of the local riders. There is the Petting Zoo , Pony Rides, Chicken Judging Competition, Reptile show “My Zoo” and a Bull weighing competition.
Inside the pavilions you will find everything from delicious local produce to Toys, Flowers, beautiful Art, Photography Display, Wool Display , Miniature Railway display and even a Lego display. – A great way to see what the locals have been up too.
For thrill seekers the action builds up with for the first time in Oberon live Medieval Fights where knights battle each other. Display of Medieval Weapons and Armor with a Medieval Village, World War One and Two Military displays and Military re-enactors plus a Classic Machinery Display.
Marvel Super Character and a Life size Dinosaur. Inflatable Costumes Race , Farmers Challenge plus Mechanical Bull Ride and a Crazy interactive Science show.
Interactive Specialist Rescue Services displays.
Quickshear competition – known as the richest shearing competition in the world. Plus the Dog High Jump and the Yard Dog Trials both of which will keep everyone entertained with some impressive Canine skills.
Families will have a blast with Classic Sideshow Alley filled with Classic Carnival Rides and Victorian Games and treats. Plus many Stalls selling all sorts of wonderful and amazing stuff.
When the sun sets stick around for the fire show and Fireworks Display to wrap up the show with a bang.
Also don’t forget the Food stalls scattered around the grounds – from Classic show food stalls to hearty meals to keep you full throughout the day.
