BCG has announced a new partnership with iconic Australian workwear brand RB Sellars, officially launched at BCG’s Chair’s Breakfast on Thursday, August 21.
The event brought together growers, advisers and community members to hear from RB Sellars CEO, Jim Gall, whose message centred on the power of optimistic innovation, contagious positivity, and the belief in a bright future for agriculture and regional Australia.
Jim spoke about agriculture as more than just an industry, describing it as an “identity finder” that provides people with a deep sense of place, purpose, and connection.
“Agriculture tells real stories – stories that matter. When we share them authentically, they give us brightness, hope, and a tangible vision for the future. That’s what we want to celebrate through this partnership with BCG,” he said.
Connection
BCG, known nationally for its strong connection to farmers, is proud to share this same commitment with RB Sellars.
The collaboration sees BCG staff proudly wearing new uniforms provided by RB Sellars, which reflect not just practicality, but also the shared values of community, authenticity, and connection to the land.
BCG chairperson, John Ferrier, said the partnership was a natural fit.
“BCG and RB Sellars share a commitment to celebrating agriculture and supporting the people who make it thrive,” he said.
RB Sellars’ commitment to genuine storytelling, and business and environmental sustainability, was highlighted at the event.
Jim Gall noted how the company has worked closely with cotton growers to improve environmental outcomes and create transparency in the supply chain, cutting the journey of a cotton shirt from 24 steps down to just two.
Real value
“Farmers should be attributed real value for the work they do. We’re not in the business of fashion, we’re in the business of agriculture. The partnership with BCG is about recognising that and driving prosperity for rural Australia,” Jim said.
RB Sellars will have a pop-up shop at BCG’s Main Field Day at Birchip on Wednesday, September 10, when attendees can try on and purchase clothing.
