The Coleraine P&A Society is excited to announce that the 2024 Coleraine Show will be held on the 2nd of November, bringing together the best of local agriculture, entertainment, and family fun. As one of the region’s most beloved annual events, the Coleraine Show offers a fantastic day out for people of all ages, with activities and displays that celebrate our rural heritage while showcasing modern-day attractions.
This year’s show will feature an exciting lineup, including:
- Wool Competitions: Handle the finest wool in the area, make sure to drop by the Wool Shed to take a look and even purchase some of the wool!
- Pavilion Exhibits: Explore local talent with pavilions dedicated to arts, crafts, cooking, and floral displays, celebrating creativity and skill across our community.
- Horse Events: Thrilling equestrian events will include show jumping, pony club competitions, and the stockman’s challenge, ensuring an action-packed day.
- Kids’ Zone: There’s plenty to keep the little ones entertained with face painting, Dazzling Dan the Magic man and a range of children’s games and activities.
- Market Stall Lane: Shop for unique local produce, crafts, a variety of showbags and chat with local organisations and business owners.
- Food and Drink: A wide selection of delicious local food and beverages will be available, from gourmet food trucks to traditional show treats. Sample the best of the region’s fresh produce and enjoy a day of feasting.
- Competitions: The showgrounds will host a variety of competitions throughout the day, from shearing competitions and Yard Dog Trials to poultry comps and the Young Farmers Challenge.
- Live Music and Performances: A lineup of local musicians and performers will provide live entertainment throughout the day, with local teen musicians – Twisted Hearts singing us through lunchtime and Dunkeld boys – the McIntyre Brothers taking on the evening until the fireworks!
The Coleraine Show remains a celebration of community, bringing together families, friends, and visitors to enjoy a vibrant day that blends tradition with modern entertainment.
