As the biggest sporting event in regional Victoria, the MotoGPâ„¢ is expected to attract up to 100,000 attendees over the three days.

“This is the cornerstone of Bass Coast Shire Council’s events program, bringing an economic boost of over $42 million to our region. It’s a major driver for off-season tourism, employment, and international exposure,” said Bass Coast Mayor Cr Clare Le Serve.

“Phillip Island has proudly hosted the Australian MotoGP for nearly 30 years at our world-famous Grand Prix Circuit, and we are excited to once again welcome visitors for this brilliant family event with community days, activities, and a range of programs supporting the main races.”

A community day will again be held on Friday, 18 October, which provides free general admission tickets for Bass Coast residents. To receive a complimentary ticket, just present your proof of residency at any gate on the day or avoid the queues by collecting your tickets in advance from Gate 1 on Thursday, 17 October.

Thompson Avenue in Cowes will remain the entertainment hub and will be filled with live music and entertainment with the BMW Superscreen showing race footage, rider interviews and movies throughout the weekend to keep the party going.
