Brenda Poole of Narrandera serves as the vibrant and dedicated Aboriginal Education and Engagement Coordinator at TAFE NSW.

With over 20 years of experience, Brenda is a force to be reckoned with, especially her infectious energy and passion for her work.

In her role, Brenda travels across Narrandera, Griffith, Hay and Leeton, connecting with the Aboriginal community, TAFE staff, teachers, and external partners.

She’s the go-to person for understanding what her community needs from TAFE NSW, ensuring they have the support and resources to thrive.

Brenda collaborates to develop and implement innovative programs to improve engagement and participation of Aboriginal people in learning programs such as creating pathways linking training to employment and careers through connecting with local businesses.

Her passion rings loud and clear – she’s dedicated to ensuring that Aboriginal people get the support they need to navigate through life, whether it’s through education, health, family or government assistance.

Her employers and workmates say Brenda’s dedication to her community and her quirky personality make her a true gem at TAFE NSW.
