The annual Easter Rotary of Kerang Art Show took place over the long weekend. On Good Friday night, the opening ceremony was held, during which the winners of the 2024 awards were announced by the judge, Craig Penny. Col Brown won the Best of Show award for his acrylic painting titled ‘That Old Dam’. The Gannawarra Shire Acquisition Award went to Jan Lawler for her oil/acrylic painting of a kingfisher. Rhonda Willoughby, a local artist, was voted as the People’s Choice winner of the show. Toni Webster won the raffle. 

This year’s art show had 350 entries, out of which 170 were hand-delivered by local artists. Patrons purchased 50 pieces of artwork.

Rotary District Governor Rotarian Ian McKay was also present to award the Rotary Club of Kerang the EnviroClub Bronze Award.
