Recent stories

Charlton Arts is in the final stages of preparations for its inaugural Art and Photography Exhibition on the weekend of October 13 to 16. Formally run by the Charlton Rotary Club, the members of Charlton Arts are excited to continue this popular annual event.

The opening night tickets for Friday, October 13, can be purchased from the Charlton Neighbourhood House at a cost of $25 or online at https://events.humanitix.com/charlton-arts-art-and-photography-exhibition. This includes drinks and nibbles, with the winners of the varying categories being announced, along with the judge’s comments. Entry to the entire weekend of the show is also included in the opening night ticket. Tickets for the remainder of the weekend are $6 and can be purchased at the door.

The raffle first prize for this year is a wonderful painting by Bert Limpens. The second prize is a sunrise photo taken across the ocean in Tasmania, by Julie Jenkins. The winning tickets will be drawn on Monday afternoon, the last day of the exhibition.

All enquiries and information can be obtained by contacting the exhibition co-ordinator, Julie Jenkins, on 0400 080 925.
