A local farming family has acquired the productive mixed farming enterprise Donadabu in south western New South Wales’ Bland district for $4,365,000, ending 63 years of ownership within the vendors’ family.
The 479-hectare property is suited to sheep, wool, prime lambs and cropping on level open country, which has deep red loams and grey self-mulching soils.
Donadabu is well fenced and watered by dams, supported by an annual rainfall of 525 millimetres.
Vendors John and Janet Curry sold the property to finalise a family partnership.
Elders Real Estate managed the sale.
