The Teebar Show and Sports Association Inc., Media Release, 8 June 2021
The Teebar Show, Rodeo and Campdraft is set to come back this weekend bigger and better than ever before.
With campdraft and rodeo, ute muster, hall program, kids activities and movie night, live music and various stalls, there is sure to be entertainment for the whole family.
A new initiative for this year, Teebar Show will have custom stubby coolers available for sale – but with limited numbers, you’d better get in quickly before they’re all sold out.
Local acts Gemini Duo – father-daughter duo, Amali and Phil – and Childers-based singer-songwriter Mick Douglas will perform after the campdraft and rodeo finishes at 4pm.
“The committee has been busy putting the last pieces together this week and we’re excited for a fantastic weekend,” Teebar Show & Sports Association President Ewan Rockemer said.
“There have had to be a few changes thanks to Covid, including moving our ticketing system online to allow contact tracing, but the committee have been wonderful in implementing necessary changes and we thank the public for taking it in their stride.
“After a year off last year thanks to Covid, we can’t wait to welcome people back to Teebar this weekend.”
Gates open Saturday at 6am and live music will play from 3pm until 10pm.
Tickets are on sale now at teebar.com.au.
