LifeFlight airlifts boy afterburns incident at Goomburra

On Saturday night The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a boy to hospital after he fell into a fire at a Goomburra campground. The helicopter was tasked at 5.20pm to the Southern Downs region and landed near the campground.

A Victorian coroner has ruled a pilot who died in a crash near Lucyvale should not have been issued with a licence because of his limited flying experience. Cinematographer and adventurer, Matthew Farrell (42) died in a light sport aircraft crash at Lucyvale on September 18, 2022.
