Last week, Her Excellency Professor, the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, embarked on a regional visit across Hindmarsh and West Wimmera Shires. As the 30th Governor of Victoria and only the second woman to hold this position, Governor Gardner’s visit highlighted the innovative and forward-thinking businesses in the region.

Careless burning sparks EPA warning for Western Victoria

EPA Victoria says a rise in illegal burning in Western Victoria is damaging the environment and putting people’s health at risk with contaminated residue and hazardous smoke. Rachel Clark. Round 12 of WHA hockey saw NDSC – Hockey Division play at Kaniva on a beautiful, sunny 14 degree day, albeit a little warm for players! Nhill played against all Horsham teams, winning two matches, drawing one and losing one.
