A large group of Australian-outback explorers made their way to the Riverland last week, with more than 140 caravan enthusiasts spending their time enjoying the region and donating locally where it is needed most.
The Bushtracker Owners Groups arrived at the Barmera Field Days site, last Friday, for their annual general meeting — the National Muster — with the group spending the past week travelling through and enjoying the region.
Featuring members from across Australia, president Bill Pahl said the group was excited to have the Riverland as their meeting point for 2025.
“This is our first time in the Riverland, and the next 10 days of activities look amazing,” Mr Pahl said.
Not only investing time and money in the community, Mr Pahl said fundraising from auctions held throughout their stay will also be donated to local groups, services, and charities.
“We often raise between $15,000 and $20,000” Mr Pahl said.
“We love to give back anyway we can, and always has a focus on where the most difference can be made.”
