High attendance and exhibitor numbers, along with great weather conditions, all came together for a successful 66th edition of the Riverland Field Days last weekend.
The Riverland Field Days welcomed exhibitors, vendors, and guests from the region and beyond to Barmera over Friday and Saturday, with more than 10,000 people attending across the two days, and 225 booked sites filling the Field Day Drive oval.
Executive manager Emma Gwiazda said support for the 2025 event was “fantastic”, especially against a backdrop of drought, industry pressures, and cost-of-living.
“It was so great to see so many businesses at this year’s Field Days, and so many people coming out to support the event,” she said. “Exhibitors have let us know they were very pleased with the event, and happy with the amount of people that come to their stalls and their sales.
“Happy exhibitors mean that I’m happy.
“We also received lots of positive comments (from attendees) about the Factory FMX (motorbike action display), as well as Old MacDonald’s Travelling Farm — both were very popular with families.”
Ms Gwiazda said the committee was already planning for the 2026 Field Days.
“We really want to continue our Local Hero award, and make that a tradition so as to celebrate our volunteers” she said.
“We’re also just very excited for another year, and are hoping the situation with the drought subsides, we get some serious rain, and we start seeing better engagement in the wine industry to make it fairer on our grape producers.”
LifeFM’s Samuel Taylor was named The Local Hero of the 2025 Riverland Field Days.
Early bird registrations for the 2026 Riverland Field Days will open on November 26.
