Recent stories

Fifty-one people attended the official opening of the Echoes of Time photo exhibition by Narrandera photographer Mark Wilkie.

Patrons had the opportunity to see a selection of Mark’s photos taken while on assignment as a newspaper photographer in Europe and the Middle East and travelling through South East Asia.

A total of 13 photographs were selected from thousands of black and white negatives and colour slides for the exhibition, showcasing people and their life during interesting times.

A further 20 people attended a second evening showing on Wednesday 28 May.

A book of Mark’s photos and with accompanying narratives has been printed and sold at the exhibition.

The exhibition will run through June and July. The Coco Lounge, where the exhibition is on show, is open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for anyone interested in viewing these amazing photographs.
