Onslow 100 Year Festival

Australian Rural & Regional News reminds readers that a media release is a statement of the author given. Media releases vary widely in reliability and may contain a combination of fact, aspirational statements, opinion, political commentary and even error. Especially on contentious issues, we suggest our readers read widely and assess the statements made by different parties and form their own view.

Shire of Ashburton, Media Release, 22 April 2025

The town of Onslow, where it is today, was settled in 1925. We are proud of its rich history, and this year we are thrilled to commemorate a significant milestone – 100 years since its establishment after its relocation!

This weekend, Onslow Foreshore will come to life with live music, food, entertainment, competitions, youth zones and more!

With fireworks ending the day, we will then welcome The Black Sorrows to the stage. This is a day you don’t want to miss.
