Nimbin School of Arts has an extensive program of diverse cultural events this Spring, but one of the absolute highlights is the Twilight Recital featuring world renowned pianist, teacher and human rights activist, Roger Woodward.
Sydney-born and now based in the USA, Roger Woodward’s international career began in the early 1970s and, over the subsequent decades, he has performed in orchestras around the world, and under the baton of some of the most famous conductors.
Woodward is a pianist with a powerful virtuoso technique and his performances are renowned for their precision, insight, and depth of interpretation, although sometimes reviewed as unorthodox for their modernity.
This is a very special treat for Nimbin to have this hugely respected pianist performing on our hall’s grand piano.
The Twilight Recital featuring works by Chopin, Debussy and JS Bach will be on Sunday 22nd September starting at 6pm.
Tickets are $30/$20 concession and are available from Perceptio Bookshop, or at the door. First in, best seated. For further information, phone 6689-1577.
