Apprentice jockeys shine at Donald

Recent stories

Donald Racing Centre held its first meeting for 2023, on Sunday, March 26.

On the day, two women apprentice jockeys celebrated success with a win each in races five and six.

In race five, Rose Hammond rode the favourite, Equine Philosopher, and won comfortably for trainer, Jarod Robinson, setting a new track record of 2.15.02.

In race six, Hannah Edgley rode the Rhys Archard-trained Bangerang Redback into first place at quite long odds, beating Heavy Rotation by half a length.
