The Shire of Ashburton is pleased to welcome Hastings Technology Metals Ltd to Onslow.

As the latest tenant to the Ashburton North Strategic Industrial Area (ANSIA) Hastings, working with the Shire, have committed to Onslow and to our community.

ANSIA is located 13 kilometres south of the Onslow town site in and has been strategically developed by the Shore of Ashburton and the State Government as an internationally competitive industrial estate, designed to facilitate and encourage
Industry synergies, transport links and sharing of infrastructure networks.

The estate also is home to other major hydrocarbon processing industries and services and boasts world class port access through the Port of Ashburton.

Shire of Ashburton President Kerry White said she was looking forward to further assisting Hastings through their expansion into Onslow and in becoming a globally significant supplier of key components for the clean-energy world.

“I am really pleased Hastings have chosen Onslow for its plant for processing of concentrate from their Yangibana operations”.
