Seven sets of brothers make the Richmond Range rugby team a force to reckon with.
Saturday’s 30-nil win over Iluka Cossacks means the team is set to play Byron Bay in the President’s Cup major quarter final.
It will be played on Byron’s home ground next weekend.
Last Saturday’s game at Mallanganee Oval was extra sweet for Luke Benn who played his 100th game for the Ranges.
He joined the club in 2005.
“I played before we folded,” he said. “Nic (his brother) was a ballboy back then.”
In 2015 the club was revived and Luke and Nic were quick to get back on the field playing the game they love.
Coach Alex Gibbon restarted the defunct Richmond Range team and with the band of brothers they could be unbeatable this season.
