Unexploded munitions cleared from Two Rocks farm

A recent joint operation between the Australian Defence Force and emergency services led to six unexploded World War II-era munitions being destroyed on a commercial farm in Two Rocks. An ADF spokeswoman said the potentially lethal relics, unearthed by a civilian contractor during routine grid searches, dated back to the 1940s when the area served as a training ground for artillery, mortars, anti-tank weaponry and aerial bombing.
Expanded bus network to link new Yanchep line stations
An extended bus network for the northern suburb corridor will start when the Yanchep rail extension opens in July ... Two Rocks, Butler and Kinross men caught illegally fishing for marron
A Two Rocks man has been fined more than $11,000 and has been prohibited from having a recreational marron fishing licence or possessing marron or marron fishing gear for three years, after being charged for illegal fishing offences last year. The 33-year-old man was caught during a joint overnight patrol by DPIRD fisheries officers and WA Police, three weeks after the 2023 marron season closed.

Alkimos Ball Club a big hit with kids
Alkimos Ball Club was created in 2016 and offers tee-ball and baseball for both juniors and seniors. The aim of the club is to allow people to pursue these sports in a friendly social environment.
