Home batteries are set to change the energy landscape with household subsidies to solar and storage systems to deliver benefits to household power bills and take strain off the energy grid, according to Member for Indi, Helen Haines ... "The scheme starts on July 1st but batteries can be purchased and installed now and be eligible for the subsidy in the new financial year.

Mum’s community spirit passed on

After watching her mother, Lisa, work on the frontline as an Ambulance Victoria Ambulance Community Officer in Corryong, Maisie Pilli was inspired to follow in her footsteps. Volunteering runs deep in the Pilli family with Maisie and her siblings already being members of the CFA.

Supporters of Independent Member for Indi, Helen Haines, celebrate with her after her record third victory in Saturday’s federal election. Brothers-in-arms come home

It is 30 years since they last hung in the Upper Murray but now portraits of two brothers have found a new home at the Corryong RSL Hall. William Malcolm Chisholm and Colin John Chisholm both served in WWI and were wounded in action.

Local talent steps up
