Birchip lawn bowler Natasha Hogan has been selected in Australia’s deaf bowls team to compete on the international stage between September 1 and 14.
Natasha is one of 12 players from around Australia who will compete in the ninth iteration of the world event, hosted in Colinton BC, Edinburgh, Scotland.
This is the pinnacle event for hearing impaired bowlers and Natasha is very excited to have been selected to represent the green and gold and is looking forward to the experience of playing overseas with her Australian team members.
Natasha will leave on August 29, and return home on September 24, taking advantage of the opportunity to include some travel while she is away.
The Birchip Bowls Club and the Birchip community wish Natasha the best of luck.
