Students from Tennant Creek Primary and High School took to the beautiful surroundings of Lake Mary Ann for their cross country races.
The run took them along the water’s edge, up steep hills and along dusty paths.
The High School students took in the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills after the challenging hill climb.
Preschool to Grade 2 enjoyed participating in a cross country obstacle course on the school oval.
Big smiles and lots of laughter filled the air as the students had a sack race, jumped hurdles, climbed through a tunnel, climbed under and over obstacles, batted balls, balanced giant eggs on spoons, and turned into army commandos crawling under a camouflage net before racing to the finish line.
