Logan McNeil has passed 50 career wins and now sits at 52 wins. With horse racing still active during the Victorian lockdown without crowds, it is quiet at the races. The loudest sound is of horse hoofs hitting the turf and the tinging of metal buckles, bits and reins.
We’ll follow Logan’s journey from the end of June when he cemented his 50th career win. Friday, June 25, competing at Ballarat Synthetic, Logan McNeil won aboard four-year-old mare ‘Heljami’ over 2100 metres. Irish five-year-old gelding ‘Yulong Patrol’ finished second over 1600 metres.
Saturday, June 26, at Echuca, three-year-old gelding ‘Smokin’ Salmon’ finished second over 1100 metres with the heaviest category track condition, very wet, towards saturation. June 28, three-year-old gelding ‘Exceed Tycoon’ won at Pakenham Synthetic over 1000 metres, taking his career tally to 51 race wins.
Thursday, July 1, five-year-old gelding ‘Hard Reality’ finished third at Bendigo over a moist but not a badly affected track over 1100 metres.
Tuesday, July 6, three-year-old filly ‘Avenue of Pleasure’ chalked another career win for Logan, his 52nd career win, at Ballarat Synthetic over 1200 metres.
Sunday, July 11, three-year-old gelding ‘Turn Back Time’ finished third on a rain-affected track that horses will get into over 1400 metres. Three-year-old filly ‘Lime Spice’ finished second over 1200 metres.
