“Let’s talk about BIG weather”
St Arnaud and district residents are invited to participate in a community-wide conversation about ways to better respond to extreme weather events and shape solutions that make sense for the region. Make a Change Australia, in partnership with Northern Grampians Shire Council and supporting organisations, will host a "Let's Talk About BIG Weather" community event on Tuesday, June 24.
Charlton’s Courthouse Gallery – Patchwork of colour and creativity
The Charlton Courthouse Gallery was very busy over the June long weekend as visitors poured in for “Pieced Together – A Collaboration of Charlton & District Quilters”. Birchip hosts renewables and mining meeting
The community of Birchip, an epicentre of three wind farm proposals and four significant mineral sands mining retention licences, played host to a community meeting addressing turbines, lines, mines and property rights ... Sledgehammer taken to housing affordability
The State Government has taken a sledgehammer to the construction industry, introducing the Building Legislation Amendment Bill 2025 which will push the cost of building a home up by as much as $30,000 ...
