109th Exeter Show, 24 February 2024

Recent stories

Exeter Show Society

The Exeter Show brings together exhibitors and entertainers, as well as visitors from across the State, and offers something for everyone.

The Axeman’s Association hold their annual woodchopping and tree felling events in a special arena in the showgrounds. This year will see two main competitions with the Tasmanian single-handed championship and the Tasmanian under hand hard hitting championship. These events will draw the best Axemen in Tasmania.

Horses are back this year with a full program of show jumping

With the kindness of many sponsors, the show is a true rural event featuring Prime Lamb competition, cattle, Alpacas,  dog high jump, pet parade and the popular animal nursery..  For the first time there will be a Country Young Person competition, with categories for all ages.

All the fun of the fair with rides and show bags, lots of free entertainment for children, and of course the show hall with prize winning entries in many categories.
