The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has released the planned location of the proposed Toowoomba North South Transport Corridor, which will direct traffic away from the New England Highway through Toowoomba.

Cambooya’s Dan O’Leary and his pony Nelkie were two of the stars of the Cooke O’Leary Cup, a polo competition hosted by the Downs Polo Club in Clifton last weekend.The champion off the track pony prize, sponsored by Edwards Saddleworld Toowoomba, was awarded to Nelkie, owned and played by O’Leary.
Urgent Care Clinic deadline missed
An Urgent Care Clinic in Toowoomba, promised to be up and running by 1 July 2023, is yet to be finished ... The Federal Labor Government had promised the Toowoomba UCC, as well as 50 others around the country, would be up and running by the deadline ... So far, only eleven UCCs have opened, nine in Victoria and two in Western Australia.

Gallery highlighting permanent collection works
Four exhibitions highlighting the depth and cultural significance of artworks held in Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery’s three permanent collections are open for viewing. The Gallery is home to the nationally significant Lionel Lindsay Gallery and Library Collection, the Fred and Lucy Gould Art Collection and the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery – Toowoomba City Collection.
Breeding ‘Australia’s natural wonder’
One of Queensland’s most successful Droughtmaster studs is Oakmore Park just outside Greenmount where Sharon and Greg Harms have been breeding Droughtmaster cattle for over 20 years. The Droughtmaster Breeders Association has labelled Droughtmaster cattle as "Australia’s Natural Wonder" and with good reason as they are ideally suited to the Australian climate and method of farming.
