“Common sense recommendations”
The Health Minister has welcomed the Limestone Coast Local Health Network board’s decision to endorse “several common-sense” recommendations from the feasibility study on establishing a radiation therapy service in Mount Gambier for the South East. Livestream all meetings

That’s the view of Cr Craig McGuire, who told the council meeting in June that the community wanted to know what was going on in their council. Cr McGuire said he noticed that the special council meeting on budget and the previous council meeting (May) had 3400 views online.
Council hit by cyber attack
The Wattle Range Council is investigating a cyber incident, where data has been accessed and taken from its IT environment. The council confirmed that the cyber attack involved access to some of its file drives by an unauthorised third party ... Council said a priority of their investigation was to determine exactly what information was involved, and who it related to.
War of words
A war of words has broken out between Health Minister Chris Picton and Member of Barker Tony Pasin over the release of a feasibility study on delivering radiation treatment services for the region. Mr Pasin claimed the local health bureaucracy, the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN), has “snubbed” the release of the report, hiding it from the public and the volunteers of the Limestone Coast Radiation Treatment Working Group.
