No action on allegations Aboriginal sites were destroyed
In November 2024, The Riverine Grazier reported on investigations NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) into concerns Aboriginal scarred trees had been removed from Gundaline Station’s Red Gum forests ... "The Department has decided not to continue its investigation or take any further action in response to this matter."

Common sense allows farmers to use ground water during bushfires
The NSW Government says it is reducing red tape which has stifled farmers’ ability to fight fires on their own property. During a fire emergency, a landholder can now take water from surface water and groundwater sources on their land without needing to have a water licence and water use approval.

$13B spent on the Murray Darling Basin Plan but Dalton calls it “lazy politics”
Helen Dalton MP, Member for Murray, says the truth about what she describes as $13 billion of wasted taxpayer money needs to be told. The independent member is referring to a new four-year study into the Murray-Darling Basin (MDB) Plan reveals mixed results. The four-year study released last involved 12 scientists from Australia’s leading universities, and drew on data from 1980 to 2023.
