Nhill has just made the 100 BEST SMALL TOWNS IN AUSTRALIA list published in a cover story in the Sunday Paper’s ESCAPE MAGAZINE. Nhill comes in at number 98 under the heading of QUIRKY. It’s quirky because you can play the largest collection of pinball machines in the country at the Australian Pinball Museum.

Disappointing start to 2025 for local racing team, Kermit Racing

After much anticipation, preparation and travelling more than ten hours to One Raceway near Goulburn in NSW, Kermit Racing’s weekend finished just 5 hours after the race start. Kermit Racing’s driver team for this event was Graeme Ussing, David Morrison, Paul Newcombe and Brady Newcombe.

A harvest season of mixed results in Nhill, Kaniva and surrounding districts

The harvest season in Nhill, Kaniva, and the district brought a mixed bag of results for farmers. While some crops exceeded expectations, others underperformed, reflecting the challenges posed by the season’s dry conditions. Georgia Foster strikes gold in New Zealand!

Local star athlete Georgia Foster has sprinted her way to an incredible triumph at the Colgate North Island Games in New Zealand, bringing home not one, not two, but three gold medals! Competing in the Under 15 category, Georgia dominated the track, taking first place in both the 100m and 200m, and delivering a stellar performance as the anchor for the victorious 4x100m female relay team.
