A celebration took place over the weekend as the enthusiastic gardener enjoyed viewing a beautiful exhibit of orchids from around the world in Kerang for the 22nd Victorian Country Orchid Clubs Challenge. Ten displays with an average of 50 plants made their way to the Kerang Basketball Stadium, supported by the sharing of gardening knowledge and commercial stalls.

Rain and cold didn’t deter fans from the pull of Quamby

Despite the rain and arctic conditions, Tractor Pull enthusiasts headed to the birthplace of Tractor Pulling in Australia, Quambatook, for the Annual Easter Tractor Pull. With two lanes available at Quambatook, a mini sled was held on one side for smaller vehicles, while the other hosted the executioner sled for the larger vehicles.

McNeil pays tribute to mentor

If you are fortunate in life, you meet that person who is humble, genuine, passionate and a great friend to guide you on your journey and help you achieve your dreams. Deane Lester, a respected industry form analyst, as well as a mentor for Jye McNeil, passed away on Thursday after a short battle with cancer; he was 54 ... “He's going to be riding with me in every race today,” said an emotional McNeil.
