The Koondrook Barham River Raiders travelled to Nyah to face the top team on the Senior ladder, Nyah Nyah West United. The overcast and windy conditions made one goal end more favourable for scoring ... Barham is currently hosting the inaugural bowls Over 60s State Carnival. The previous format of Over 60s State Championships had 16 bowlers participating. With the new State Carnival event, 750 bowlers with 1,000 entries have made their way to Barham.

On a perfect racing day, the annual Wakool Sheep Races were held at the Wakool Recreation Reserve on Saturday evening. The ewe ‘jockeys’ stayed safe behind the seven-lane barrier draw while their sheep were motivated to run faster to the finish line by the ringing of hand-held bells.

On Sunday, passionate harness racing enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the 100th anniversary of harness racing at Gunbower. The event featured a VIP lunch, speeches from industry representatives, and memories shared by racing legends who have participated in the longest harness racing track in Victoria spanning 2,630 metres.
